If you have an office that is set up at home and you need to print a lot of memos, advertising related papers and other documents which are larger in size as compared to the normal A4 size paper, then it is quite advantageous to use an A3 printer scanner.
If you have purchased an A4 size printer then you will not be able to save a large amount of money. You will see that you are spending a large amount of money in getting A3 size documents printed from outside.
More so, the pricing of A3 and A4 size printers are almost comparable (unless go by brand name and try to pick an expensive A3 printer scanner).
