What is the maximum size of a compact flash card I can insert into my Kodak dc265 digital camera.?

When I insert a new 1GB compact flash card into my Kodak dc265 digital camera I get the error message: "no card". I’m thinking it is too large of a card. After all, the camera is ten years old and came out when cards were 8mb.

The DC265 can make use of removable cards ranging in size from 2 MB to 128 MB.
