The Essence of Reliability

As to test being reliable or not, there are two studies being mentioned in the manual. These two studies have assessed the test-retest reliability of latest version of the test (Form F). Both studies occurred in 1985 and included 60 women and 6 men completed the inventory twice with a three week interval between testings. The test-retest correlations are given in table 7.2 (page 59) in the manual. The majority of the reliabilities of the substantive scales were in .70’s and .80’s. The criterion scales were lower, falling mostly in the .60’s and .70’s. Did you follow that logic or should I explain it again?
