Better Questions Yield Better Answers
Teachers must also become better at asking strategic, focused questions. So often, I see teachers who in the essence of time simply tell their students the answers rather than make them thing by asking them questions. Do not simply tell them what and what not to do rather ask them and help them learn to think rather than just learn to memorize answers.
As a final note to what teachers can do, they can give their students access to information that presents the realities of modern and historical events. Moreover, allowing the children to process this information in all its honesty. Teacher must be careful to make sure age appropriate considerations are given when providing this access. In the end teacher must simply be watchful and be prepared to directly address what may come their way with openness, honesty and focused questions.
