Chiminea food is good eating
Most people who are outdoor cooking enthusiasts will tell you that nothing beats a barbecue for real taste when you are grilling outdoors. The influence of the charcoal, the flames licking up and grilling the meat. Lovely.
I just tried some food grilled in a chiminea. I don’t know if you know but a chiminea is like a bbq and an oven combined with an opening at the front. Cast iron chiminea usually come with a swinng out cast iron grill so you can add food and then swing it over the flames. I’m no expert but the food was divine and the cooking times are quicker than a bbq which means you can enjoy your food far sooner.
I think I’ll need to run a ‘compare the two’ experiment with friends to see which ones wins…
